This page represents some of the many fun projects I’ve worked on during my time as an illustration manager in publishing. I love taking on a wide variety of challenges, aiming to produce engaging, vibrant work.

The works featured on this site (with the exception of the Ideations section) were collaborative projects. These images reflect summaries only, as I detail my roles in each. My heartfelt thanks to the incredible people I had the pleasure of working with!

Include original and corrective work, requiring the ability to swiftly adapt to a myriad of art styles, story needs, and formats, on a very efficient basis. Highly experienced with every part of the pipeline - from layouts, to pencils, to paints.

Finesse with a broad variety of design and paint programs. Vignettes, margins, stickers, lift-the-flap pages, and adapting assets for a host of products both digital and material. Experience with text placement, font usage. Adheres to guidelines/rails.

Juggling multiple projects, contracts, and deadlines. Tight time-keeping, communicative, and organizational skills. Experience with budgeting, managing art teams, coordinating with freelance artists, regularly giving presentations, and delivering high quality work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent team player.

No matter the project, I tackle my work with enthusiasm, especially in a collaborative environment. Sparking interest and imaginations in memorable ways is always the goal!
Book & Art Pool Projects
Frozen 2 (Extension Stories; 20+ art pages each):
❦ Role: Paint-overs, paint/ink/layout adjustments, page elements to accommodate text and margins, adaption of existing assets for efficiency.
Encanto, Wish, Strange World, and Raya and the Last Dragon (General):
❦ Role: Some character art, ink fixes, paint fixes/paint-over, formatting fixes, vignettes, extending art by adding background. Created of myriad of art assets (both ink and paint) of props for very expansive educational art pools (Strange World, Raya and the Last Dragon, Encanto), to be implemented in multiple projects as needed. Oversaw major Encanto project featuring intricate cut-aways of lavishly detailed film location interiors, complete with stickers, lift-the-flaps, characters.
Editing
Turning Red, Strange World, Luca:
❦ Role: Some correctional painting, formatting tweaks, clean-up for adapting to altered story text, editing for better readability.
Digital Media
Arendelle: Ice Calamity (clickable)

❦ Role: Provided art direction to animation/art staff, including paint-overs, notation, corrective art to ensure characters are on-model, that color palettes match the in-house style, and frame compositions are readable in motion. Focus on consistency, recognizability.
Frozen: Forces of Nature (clickable)
(Podcast Series | ABC Audio)
❦ Role: Created assets (including paint of Anna, and original designs for the featured automatons) for the podcast; helped to put together podcast tiles appropriate per episode. Swift requests and fluid deadlines by the hour.
Creating fresh assets means facing interesting new challenges, unique to each IP. Designs need to be faithful to the spirit of the property, but they need to feel accessible and appealing to new audiences.
